Instead of unsubscribing, I set up my email to mark them as read and reroute them all to their own folder unless they match a search term or two I find interesting. Set up some searches for emails regarding things you're needing to hear. I'm in this for certain artists, and anything regarding music. How you do it depends on how you read your email. I use Thunderbird. If you use Outlook or Gmail, or whatever else, there's probably a way to do it. 

Also although there are no admins there is a little policy when you sign up for this list mentioning that it's not for discussion, just for announcements and information - so we might wanna end this conversation soon. They want just a one-way communication tool for those of us wanting to plug our latest art show or whatever - the biggest reason for admins on any online group communicative medium is conversations devolving into unmitigated arguments after somebody decides to be a dick and everybody reacts. ;)

to complain like a child to an electric nethersphere filled with old ladies
