April 3rd at 6pm at Parkway Tavern
The Whole World is Watching, a conversation with Dan Galpern

Dan Galpern, long-time legal and policy adviser to renowned climate
scientist James E. Hansen and general counsel and executive director of
Climate Protection and Restoration Initiative, is coming to Tacoma to give
a special presentation at the University of Puget Sound entitled Our
Endangered Climate and the Rule of Law. His talk builds on Climate Change
and the Rule of Law, a featured piece published Feb. 27 on the occasion of
the 43d Public Interest Environmental Law Conference.
At Tacoma Green Drinks, April 3, 2025, 6pm, at Parkway Tavern, Dan will be
pleased to meet with political leaders, policymakers, citizen-activists,
and others concerned with the rapid erosion of the rule of law at the
federal level, and to advance the thesis that the rule of law is
practically necessary for our nation to exercise even a measure of global
leadership concerning the climate crisis.
