Ericsson and SeaMobile Inc have agreed to realise a dream: Our mobile phones shall be able to connect wherever we are at sea. Ericsson shall supply all equipment to enable SeaMobile to offer 3G wireless voice and data service out to sea, reaching cruise lines, ferries, yachts, container ships and offshore oil and gas facilities, Passagemakers, and everybody going trawlering... No word on what all this will cost to end users, but we're thinkin' it best come free with the cruise, - isn't it? Cheers, Bent Tolstrup
