the melting fields) but a good duck/grebe show instead.
RED-NECKED GREBE continues diving near and all the way under and up the
otherside of the pack ice in front of the landing for great looks.
At one point even scrambled out of the water onto the ice and sat like a
football for a few minutes showing off just how far back those legs are set
on the body. He then plopped back in and looked much more comfortable back
in the water! 9 NORTHERN PINTAIL continue along with good numbers of 5
other species of ducks.
