Dear Colleagues, I am delighted to announce sponsorship for two AAS panels: Society for Song, Yuan, and Conquest Dynasties Studies AAS Conference Sponsorship The AAS has just officially opened the call for proposals submission site for the upcoming Association for Asian Studies Annual Conference to be held March 22-25, 2018, in Washington, DC. In order to encourage more research and conference participation in our area, the Society for Song, Yuan, and Conquest Dynasty Studies is happy to announce support for two panels at the conference. The selected panels will receive official recognition by the Society on the conference program. Additionally, panelists will receive funds to offset the cost of participation, including conference registration and up to $100/person for travel costs for five participants (typically the panel chair and four panelists, but other configurations are possible). Final proposals will be subject to the regular application requirements and selection process of AAS and funding is contingent on AAS acceptance (application deadline August 3, 2017).
