My mom Erika Kiley just spotted a Northern Shrike at the Trout Brook Valley
Orchard.  Seen perched at the north end of the orchard, near the barn where
the Say's Phoebe was.

Hopefully someone can capture a photograph of this individual for it is the season for unusual happenings.  Could it possibly be a Loggerhead Shrike?

It is most definitely a Northern Shrike. I reviewed Aidan's photos, and
confirmed it as an adult Northern.
