On the row of rocks east of the Cedar Island observation platform at Meigs Point, one adult, male SNOWY OWL, distinctly different from the juvenile and female that have recently been reported. It flew from the rocks onto a bush right near one of the small pine trees just at the edge of the beach. It was a pale individual perched in a bare tree giving great looks to dozens of birders. It then flew along the beach a little ways and perched again.
