12/07/13 - Lyme, Hadlyme Ferry Slip -- 8:05 AM; 1 FORK-TAILED
FLYCATCHER being seen from the parking area.  Someone spotted it in
the tree tops directly over the entrance.  It then flew to a large
tree adjacent to the river on the opposite side of the ferry slip on
the other side of the house.

12/07/13 - Lyme, Hadlyme Ferry Slip -- Fork-tailed Flycatcher still
showing nicely at noon.

12/07/13 - Somers,  Four Bridge Road -- 9:00 AM; Barnacle Goose
continues in large flock of Canada geese. Two odd light colored Canada
geese also noted.
10:30 AM; Manchester/South Windsor, corner of Demming St and Shares Rd
-- Immature Sandhill Crane eating.

in the yard on the east side of the road -- Sandhill Crane.

12/07/13 - Manchester, residence at the corner of Deming Street and
Shares Road -- SANDHILL CRANE happily chomping on worms in this yard
on a very busy street.
Somers, corner of Four Bridges Road and Hurlburt Road -- BARNACLE
GOOSE and 2 SNOW GEESE with thousands of Canadas.

Sandhill Carne eating earthworms 2:40-2:50 PM.

12/07/13 - Stamford -- one Snowy Owl was spotted on the Wallack's
jetty, visible with a scope from Cummings park.

12/07/13 - Madison, Hammonasset State Park -- 9:00 AM; 4 PURPLE
SANDPIPERS on the main jetty off the pavilion.  On the row of rocks
east of the Cedar Island observation platform at Meigs Point, one
adult, male SNOWY OWL, distinctly different from the juvenile and
female that have recently been reported.  It flew from the rocks onto
a bush right near one of the small pine trees just at the edge of the
beach.

12/07/13 - Madison, Hammonasset Beach SP -- 4:00 PM; 1 SNOWY OWL,
viewed from the Cedar Island platform.  It was a pale individual
perched in a bare tree giving great looks to dozens of birders. It
then flew along the beach a little ways and perched again.  Finally it
flew a second time towards Willard Island.

overhead.

Bradley Streets continues.

and male Purple Finch dropped-in to our front feeder.
