Quaker Ridge Hawkwatch - 9/20

A very slow day of migrating hawks  with day's end total of 62.
We did have a fantastic view of 3 Bald Eagles of different ages flying together in a
line overhead.  That was the highlight of the day.  However, it was a great day
to be out in the field.

Also seen:
4 Bald Eagles
6 Broadwing Hawks (quite a denoument after Thursday and Friday's impressive numbers.)
1 Merlin
Well over 40 Sharp-shinned Hawks
3 Osprey
2 American Kestrels
4 Rose-breasted Grosbeaks
About 20 Cedar Waxwings
3 Hummingbirds
Well over 100 Blue Jays
49 Monarch Butterflies
