To all Cruising Fleet Racers, Last night, at the Wednesday Night Racing Meeting, a vote was taken to abandon the first race of the season, scheduled for Wednesday May 2nd, due to perceived low attendance. The cold spring weather has severely hampered boat maintenance and the launching schedule of our boats both at Nyack and Haverstraw. Other meeting news - after much discussion, the group voted that the two fun Pursuit Races (scheduled for June 27th and September 5th ) will both be held, but only the June 27th race will be scored.
