Discussion and technical support related to USRP, UHD, RFNoC

Is there anyway to equip USRPs with eCPRI interface in order to use them
with 5G-beyond software frameworks such as NVIDIA AERIAL SDK?
I've found that USRP X410 more likely supports that interface but I
wonder if anyone know how to implement the interface in other USRP
products such as X300 series or so.
Regards.

My guess, having taken but a cursory look at an eCPRI overview, is that
a major overhaul of the FPGA in any of the Ettus 10Gbit radios (X310,
N3xx, X4xx) would be required to
support eCPRI.
An "easier" solution might be to insert an "interstitial" device between
a USRP and your eCPRI network to transform between eCPRI and UHD.
Remember that USRPs are very general purpose. They are used in dozens
of different application areas, and mobile-telephony/data is only ONE of
many different application
areas. So it should perhaps be no surprise that the don't come "out
of the box" ready to be used in mobile-telephony.
