Hi everyone, My schedule has the just officers scheduled to meet tomorrow. http://lists.national-coalition-literacy.org/pipermail/board_lists.national-coalition-literacy.org/2016-March/000194.html But if that time does’t work, we can move it. I’ll doodle the officers separately. And yes, we need to put out the dates for the member meeting. But first I want to check in one more time, starting with the officers, whether it is realistic given the timeline to hold the awards event in May, and not September. I know it is annoying to revisit decisions that have already been made, but I haven’t had the time to followup on the items I needed to do from last meeting. Without a point person who can put that time in right now, I’m wondering if it makes more sense to focus on pulling together a substantive worth-the-trip meeting here on those dates and moving the awards back to our traditional September dates. Sorry to chime in a little late. I agree that it makes sense to move to September. Having the awards event during AEFL week might give us more opportunity for promotion of the event and possibly get greater participation. Silja and I spoke yesterday. If we move the awards to AEFL week, we should probably attack this as one committee to plan AEFL week and the awards. I will have more time to help on both after May.
