Celebrate National Poetry Month on April 18th with a nationally-acclaimed poet and local special guests. Anis Mojgani is one of only two people to win multiple National Poetry Slam Championships. He has been an HBO Def poet, a feature on NPR, a TEDx speaker, and an International Slam Poetry champion. To make the event a true celebration of National Poetry Month, he'll be joined by Puget Sound Area special guests (poets to be announced soon on our facebook event page: https://www.facebook.com/events/160127140819952/). Hillig debuted his first solo album, "Aurora", in April 2012. In February, he showed versatility and depth with his sophomore release "Together Through It All." He has been declared a "favorite local artist" by online magazine Post Defiance. Hillig will be joined by Emily Ann Peterson, vocalist and cellist for Goldfinch.
