Sandpiper and 5 juvenile Pectoral Sandpipers.

From Tina Green:
09/25/14 - Westport, Sherwood Island SP -- Golden Eagle flying
northwest high over the model airplane field marsh.

From Lisa Gagnon:
09/25/14 - Stafford Springs -- Winter Wren.

From Angela Dimmitt:
09/25/14 - Sherman yard -- 3 female/immature Purple finches (one with
no white on face but definitely PUFI).

From Greg Hanisek:
09/25/14 - Guilford, East River marshes (part of a fun, damp day with
Julian Hough's 5 Brit friends) -- NELSON'S SPARROW; also one Pectoral
Sandpiper.
Madison, Hammonasset Beach State Park -- 2 AMERICAN GOLDEN-PLOVERS, 1
Wilson's Snipe.
Guilford, Shell Beach marsh -- 1 AMERICAN GOLDEN-PLOVER, 2 Pectoral
Sandpipers.

From Frank Mantlik:
09/25/14 - Bridgeport, Seaside Park -- 1 GREAT CORMORANT (immature
flying over west end), 1 LITTLE BLUE HERON (juvenile at pond).
Stratford, Long Beach Blvd Pond -- 1 PECTORAL SANDPIPER with other
shorebirds, 10 Yellow-crowned Night-Herons.
Stratford, Stratford Marina (private) -- 5 Yellow-crowned
Night-Herons.

From Robert Dixon:
09/24/14 - Sterling yard -- nocturnal flight calls heard between 5:30
AM and 6:00 AM; SWAINSON'S THRUSH (8), GRAY-CHEEKED THRUSH (1).

From Chuck Imbergamo:
09/24/14 - Madison, Hammonasset Beach State Park -- 8:30 AM; Two
American Golden-Plover continue in the field directly across from the
Swan Pond.

From Patrick Comins:
09/24/14 - West Haven, Sandy Point -- Quite a few American Pipits
flying over the point this morning.  None of them posed for a picture
for me though.

From Kevin Finnan:
09/24/14 - Goshen, yard -- 11:15 AM; Over the past hour, I heard Pine
Siskins flying over twice. They never came in to the feeders, just
flew over. I don't even know how many there were but it sounded like
only one or two individuals, each time.

From Paul Desjardins:
09/24/14 - Windsor,  Northwest Park -- 2 Tennessee Warblers, one of
which was only a few feet off the ground.

From Corrie Folsom-O'Keefe:
09/24/14 - Meriden, Meriden Markham Airport -- around 8 AM; an
American Golden-Plover foraging at the south end of the airport.

From Jason Rieger:
09/24/14 - Wallingford, North Branford Rd, Wallingford Open Space --
at the far corner of one of the meadows, two Northern Bobwhite¹s
flushed and then disappeared into a hedge row. More than likely
escapees (especially so with the Wallingford Rod & Gun Club in the
vicinity); however, with the vast and ideal habitat in the area, one
could imagine (hope) for the possibility of a population establishing
itself.

From Meredith Sampson:
09/24/14 - Old Greenwich, Greenwich Point -- RED-BREASTED NUTHATCH in
area between Seaside Garden and mansion site.
