I don't even know how many there were but it sounded like only one or two individuals, each time. From Jason Rieger: 09/24/14 - Wallingford, North Branford Rd, Wallingford Open Space -- at the far corner of one of the meadows, two Northern Bobwhite¹s flushed and then disappeared into a hedge row. More than likely escapees (especially so with the Wallingford Rod & Gun Club in the vicinity); however, with the vast and ideal habitat in the area, one could imagine (hope) for the possibility of a population establishing itself.
