Looks like they do more of a torpor thing, waking up on and off to eat,
etc. I'm sure with this mild winter, they're a lot more active. We have
holes all over our lawn that weren't there a couple of days ago.

I have a chipmunk just outside my house today. I thought they would be

Every warm-ish day they are out under the feeders - they make huge storerooms in the stone wall nearby.
