[cid:image001.jpg@01CD3DAD.C4B64AD0] JURIED ART EXHIBITION Auburn City Hall Gallery - July 26 - August 29, 2012 About The City of Auburn is moving the popular ArtRageous festival to Downtown Auburn in 2012! As part of the festivities, we are proud to announce a juried art show exhibition that invites regional artists to display artwork in the City Hall Gallery at 25 West Main Street from July 26 through August 29, 2012. Entry Information * Art Check-in on Wednesday, July 25, 11 - 2 pm * Entry fee of $5 per artwork, up to 3 entries per artist * Please make check payable to "City of Auburn" * Entries juried directly from original artwork * Artwork must be finished dry, ready to hang and suitably wired (no saw-tooth hangers). * Size of artwork must not exceed 36" on any side (including frame) * Artwork may be for sale with a 15% commission benefitting the festival * Cash awards for First through Third Place ($200, $100, $50) Eligibility * This event is open to all Pacific Northwest artists. * Artwork must be original, entirely the work of the entrant, without supervision, and be less than two years old. No crafts, kits, or 3-D. No copyrighted paintings or published work is allowed. * All 2-Dimensional Fine Art Media is allowed. * Sorry, any art that exhibits nudity will not be accepted. * Images of artwork may be used for publicity. Dates and Times Delivery of artwork: Wednesday, July 25, 11 - 2pm. Auburn City Hall, 25 West Main, Pick-up of artwork that is not accepted: You will be contacted in the evening on Wednesday, July 25 if your work is not accepted and an appointment time will be scheduled for pick-up. Pick-up of unsold work: Wednesday, August 29, 2012 From 10 am until 1 pm. Artist's Reception & Awards Ceremony: Saturday, August 4, 3 -5 pm Meet the judges and other artists. Awards will be presented and light refreshments will be served. This is during ArtRageous Festival where a variety of events and art will be occurring throughout the Downtown Auburn.
