First, for the 2019 Wednesday Series: 50/50 takes 1st Place in the Non-Spinnaker Division, and Hee Soo takes 1st Place in the Spinnaker Division. (note, results subject to a final review, to catch any scoring errors).

So, that's it for the 2019 Wednesday Series -- out with a whimper last night. Unlike a week ago, glassy, still conditions at 5:30 p.m. did not change by 6:30 p.m.: no wind appeared, just a bit of rain. A big crowd on the porch and patio, plenty of drinks, but no racing. A fitting end to the Wednesday Series? We abandoned almost as often as we raced in 2019!

• 17 Wednesdays have come and gone: 9 Series Races Completed (9 for Spinnaker, 8 only for Non-Spin); 1 Pursuit Race completed. 7 Spin and 8 Non-Spin races abandoned.
• 1 Wednesday to come: Pursuit Race September 4th (note, Pursuit Race does not count for any 2019 Cruising Fleet Series).
