Subj: [CT Birds]  don't park under the siskin tree

If you'd like to see what siskins can do to a car  parked under a birch tree
for a day I'd be glad to forward you a  photo.  I think it's quite amusing,
but it wasn't my car!

I'm  guessing there were about 300+ siskins/finches that day scattered among
4  groups of trees and the feeders. I'm probably down to about 100 this
weekend, lowest number in weeks.

As much as I love hearing the siskin  chorus in the morning I'm sick of
keeping those feeders filled and clean,  bring on the hummingbirds!!!
