From Bev Propen  1/22  Orange

I do believe in letter writing.  In regards to  the Madison Landing
construction, I wrote to the Dept. of Environmental  Protection from CT
(Gina.mccarthy@po.state.ct.us (mailto:Gina.mccarthy@po.state.ct.us) )  and
to Governor Rell  (Governor.Rell@ct.gov (mailto:Governor.Rell@ct.gov) ). I
found out  that the letter to Governor Rell was forwarded to Gina McCarthy.
For  what it is worth,  our state officials should know how the populace feels
regarding different projects, especially ones that impact our natural world,
environment, wildlife.  I think that they sometimes get involved in  the
"democratic process" and forget what the natural world outside their  offices is
involved with.
I read the website of SGOD and they are active on this  issue.
Good Luck.
