Link below, has a lot of good information about meetings being held by the Coast Guard, on this issues that 32 trains will cause on 3 of the FL Rail Road bridges along the track. Closing the Stuart RR bridge for an additional 32 trains a day, would cause havoc trying to find an opening that worked for Vessel traffic. This is ON TOP of the freight trains that all ready cause delays in Vessel traffic.

The Coast Guard is concerned enough to have these 3 meetings. If you are in the Stuart or other areas during a meeting time, please attend and voice your concerns or write a memo to the Coast Guard to the information supplied in this link.

I think the Coast Guard is our ONLY path to a resolve on this issue (the 32 additional bridge openings). Contracts have been signed for the construction of the trains, train stations are under construction in Miami and West Palm. 32 additional trains a day going thru Stuart (and the other communities along the Treasure Coast) will WRECK the beautiful small town life style.
