Note 1: You might not realize it from reading this report but migrants
are everywhere!  To see what I am talking about read CTBirds.

Note 2: We have been having some problems with Comcast rejecting email
from the lists (CTBirds, this daily report).  We are trying to get it
resolved.

From Paul Cianfaglione:
04/26/11 - Farmington, Batterson Pond -- 2 RED-NECKED GREBES.

From Joe Bear/Patrick Dugan:
04/26/11 - Stamford, Cove Island Sanctuary -- 12 species of warblers,
2 Orchard Orioles, a couple of Wilson's Snipe flushed from the wet
area.

From Mark Scott:
04/26/11 - Hamden/New Have, East Rock Park -- Orchard oriole, 10
warbler species.  Secondhand reports bring that up to 12 warbler
species for the day at the park, including Blackburnian Warbler.

From From Nancy Specht with Paul Smith, Ranger Dan Barvir Bird Walk:
04/26/11 - New Haven, East Rock Park -- 8AM-12PM, BLACK-BILLED CUCKOO,
Peregrine Falcon, Black Vulture.

04/26/11 - Guilford, Sachem's Head Trolley Path -- BROWN THRASHER, 6
species of wood warbler.

From Frank Gallo & Vanessa Mickan:
04/26/11 - Milford, Milford Point -- 9 male and 1 female Northern
Shoveler in the marsh behind the building at low tide; our high count
so far this spring.

04/26/11 - East Granby, Trails on Rails, just south of Copper Hill --
some RUSTY BLACKBIRDS foraging at eye level in the swamp.

04/26/11 - Madison, Hammonasset State Park -- 2 Little Blue Heron, 1
Brown Thrasher (Moraine Trail).
Milford, Milford Point, Coastal Center -- 12 NORTHERN SHOVELERS (10
drakes-2 hens).

04/26/11 - Stratford, Stratford Point -- 55 species including 1
SEASIDE SPARROW, a terrific bird for the site.  1 BROWN CREEPER.
Fairfield, CAS Birdcraft Sanctuary -- 9 warblers species including 1
BLACKBURNIAN WARBLER. 1 BROWN CREEPER.

Warbler for about 15 minutes.
