Note: A very birdy day, FAR more so than the report below indicates.
This report is highly selective about which species are included. For
example, probably a dozen different warbler species were reported
today, including several first-of-the-year, but all were "common"
species so there are no warblers in today's report. To see what is

05/02/14 - New Haven, Edgewood Park -- morning; Wilson's Snipe.
Lincoln's Sparrow, good bird for the spring. Seen well and at close
range in brush next to bridge at north end of park (very close to the
tennis courts).

05/02/14 - Kent, River Road -- 12 Yellow-bellied Sapsuckers.

05/02/14 - Glastonbury, Meshomasic SF -- Two Eastern Whip-poor-wills
seen flying over road, heard 3 calling in different areas.
