Hello from The Grand Cinema <http://www.grandcinema.com/>! It’s time once again to celebrate our local filmmakers at the 253 Short Film Party <http://www.grandcinema.com/253-short-film-party/>. Join us on Friday May 6th to watch films created by 31 teams of talented local filmmakers during the 253 Short Film Competition. Each team was given 72 hours to write, film, and edit an original short film no more than 253 seconds in length. Now you have one evening to watch all the films at a screening party with door prizes, audience voting, a photo booth, and locally made pizza and beer. The event will be held at Urban Grace <http://urbangracetacoma.org/ug-life/facility/> in downtown Tacoma (*902 Market St.*). Doors open at 6:00 PM and the films start playing at 7:00 PM. Tickets are $12 in advance ($10 Grand members) and $15 day of ($13 Grand members). Come celebrate the diversity of Tacoma’s local filmmaking community at this one of a kind party!
