All hands--
Trawler Buy-Sell-Trade is a free service to the trawler community--but it does cost money to operate the board, and requires volunteer help.
Since inception, I have happily covered the costs myself most years, because I have the same passion you do for messing about in boats. And I do want to keep for-sale messages off the main Trawlers & Trawlering List.
But I no longer own and operate Trawler Fest, so there is not even faint business motivation for me to continue to underwrite the costs.
My book-keeper tells me I should aim to make BST self-supporting by making an annual call for donations from the people who use it--especially the brokers and others who stand to benefit financially from BST.
So, here I am: If you find BST interesting and valuable, and if want it to continue and grow, please lend a hand by contributing toward expenses. A donation of just $10 or $25 a year will prove immensely helpful.
To make a voluntary contribution via PayPal or a credit card, please go to http://www.trawlersandtrawlering.com/supportbuyselltradelist.html.
On the same page, you'll find an address if you wish to contribute by check or money order.
Have no fears, you won't be badgered about making a donation. I'll report to you monthly only on fund-raising progress, and publicly thank those who have stepped forward.
Thank you for your help.

All hands!
Thanks very much to all those who have made a voluntary contribution already. The List is on the way to self-sufficiency.
A tip for avoiding hiccups with the donation page at the link below: Make sure you update your total on the first page before proceeding with a credit card payment. Then, when you choose United States on the next page, be sure the page fully loads.
If you need assistance, please contact me via direct email at georgs@trawlersandtrawlering.com.

All hands--
I'm happy to report that the annual quest for self-sufficiency has reached a successful conclusion, thanks to the final round of contributions from the following Trawler Buy-Sell-Trade subscribers:
John Brees
Thomas Coxwell
Eastern Marine Services
Wm Giles
Robert G Mueller II
Trawler School Charters
Emerson White.
We're especially appreciative of the support shown by brokers and others who stand to benefit financially from BST.
My thanks to everyone who made a donation. Much appreciate the support.
Nice to see the subscriber roster continue to hover close to the 1,500-mark for the last few years. The economy may still suck, but previously owned boats continue to be bought and sold.
Best wishes for health, happiness and flat seas in the New Year!

http://www.trawlersandtrawlering.com/supportbuyselltradelist.html <http://www.trawlersandtrawlering.com/supportbuyselltradelist.html>
On the same page, you'll find an address if you wish to contribute by check or money order.
Have no fears, you won't be badgered about making a donation. I'll report to you only on fund-raising progress, and publicly thank those who have stepped forward.
Thank you for your help.

All hands--
Trawler Buy-Sell-Trade is a free service to the trawler community--but it does cost money to operate the board, and requires volunteer help.
