Hi William,
I've updated the documentation for creating a tenant for CollectionSpace 5. While doing that, I fixed a few bugs in the clone tenant tool. Those fixes will be out in v5.2. I also found that the way we're deploying the UI for each tenant right now isn't really compatible with the clone tenant tool, so I also changed that for 5.2. Unfortunately, that means that in 5.1 there are some extra manual steps to create a tenant. If you can wait for 5.2, creating your tenant will be easier. There should be a pre-release of 5.2 that you can download sometime next week. If you want to try out the instructions with 5.1, they're here:

https://collectionspace.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/DOC/pages/667353177/Configuring+CollectionSpace
https://collectionspace.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/DOC/pages/667353175/Creating+your+new+tenant

Since you're upgrading from 4.1, I'd suggest first creating a tenant following those instructions, and making sure that you can log into the tenant. Then copy over the files and directories I mentioned in my previous email from the application and services directories on your 4.1 installation, and redeploy them. You might need to make some changes to some of the files under application, if you run into errors deploying or starting up. Let me know how it goes.

Ray
