View all threadsWell, I downloaded the Maptech free (Navigator) chartviewer which is
their proprietary system minus the ability to actually connect with a GPS
receiver. That can be purchased for about $100.
Anyway, the charts downloaded fine and then were useable on the Maptech
Navigator software. I did have to reboot the system after download to
renew/rebuild the chart file, but other than that, it worked fine.

Whoops, no body on previous message...Rookie mistake!
There are programs available to use these maps that are free of charge.
I used one called 'Sea Clear'
for a couple of years and was pretty happy with it. Of course, they
don't have all the bells and whistles that
you get w/ Navigator, The Capn' and Fugawi, but it served its purpose
