Dear Boater,

The NRBS is used to collect reliable boating data from the public to improve
boating safety programs and make informed resource allocation decisions to
support states' safety programs.
We have completed both the 2011 Boat Survey and the 2012 Trip Survey
portions of the NRBS.  The methodology and results of this Boat Survey
portion of the study can be found in a report entitled "2011 National
Recreational Boating Survey" by going to the following url:
