From Jack Swatt:
11/25/13 - West Haven, Sandy Point -- About 9:30 AM I flushed a Snowy
Owl while walking down the ocean side of Sandy Point.  The bird flew
out over the Harbor in a SE direction.  If it relocated in CT, maybe
in East Haven or points east.  Also FOX SPARROW.
New Haven, corner of Bradley and Lincoln -- 8:00 AM; juvenile
RED-HEADED WOODPECKER continues.
Durham, Greenbacher Pond -- 10:25-10:45 AM; GREATER WHITE-FRONTED
GOOSE continues.

11/25/13 - West Haven, Sandy Point -- found no owls but located 4
Redheads in raft of Greater Scaup (a few thousand in the area); also
20 American Pipit.

11/25/13 - New Haven, East Shore Park --  one Orange-crowned Warbler.
Wallingford, Rt 5, top and Shop plaza -- an immature Iceland Gull,
looking like a first cycle bird, flew a few laps around the parking
lot at 1 PM.

11/25/13 - Portland, yard -- Fox Sparrow at feeders.

11/25/13 - Westport, Burying Hill Beach -- Eurasian Wigeon, Lesser
Black-backed Gull.

11/25/13 - Durham, Rt 68, Greenbachers Pond -- Greater White-fronted
Goose, close to the road at least part of the time.
?????, Mackenzie Reservoir -- Greater White-fronted Goose.
?????, North Farms Reservoir -- 1 hen Northern Pintail.

11/25/13 - Stratford, Stratford Point -- Eurasian Wigeon and an
Ipswich Savannah Sparrow.

11/25/13 - Stratford, Long Beach & Long Beach West to Pleasure Beach
(Bridgeport) -- 2 American Pipits, 55 Snow Buntings, 2 "IPSWICH"
SAVANNAH SPARROWS.  No white owls. And no Boat-tailed Grackles; I
haven't seen any in the area in 2 months.
