01/03/13 - Stratford, Bond's Dock -- 2 SNOWY OWLS and a pair of Common
Ravens in Milford salt marsh.
Birdseye boat ramp -- 5 WILSON'S SNIPE.
Short Beach -- dark morph ROUGH-LEGGED HAWK, ICELAND GULL, 7 LAPLAND
LONGSPUR, 67 Snow Buntings.
Raven Pond Park -- 3 Northern Pintail.

01/03/13 - Old Lyme, Great Island -- 4:50 PM; SNOWY OWL. This the
fourth time that I, and others, have seen Snowy Owls go to Osprey
platforms in the last light of the day.

01/03/13 - Enfield, North Boat Ramp -- 11 AM; a Peregrine Falcon
feeding on a duck on the river's edge.

01/03/13 - Madison, Circle Beach -- 8 Iceland Gulls (3 adults, 3 1st
cycle and 2 2nd cycle) plus a 1st cycle Lesser Black-backed Gull in
the afternoon.

01/03/13 - Harwinton yard -- 1 Pine Siskin.

Blackbird; 2 Yellow-bellied Sapsucker.

01/03/13 - Fairfield, Penfield Reef? -- male Barrow's Goldeneye
continues (amongst the Common Goldeneye) morning and afternoon.
