We are departing NYC this morning and catching the 10 AM "East River Express" north from the harbor to Long Island Sound. Two weeks will be spent poking into various LI north shore harbors and into Peconic Bay and the Conn shore. We may make it out as far as Mystic but anything we pass by we can catch on the return trip in October. I would like to explore the Conn River for a bit. We plan to visit cousins and friends in various ports. Friday night we will visit my cousin in Huntington Harbor and then Sat and Sun nights in Mattitick. After two weeks seeing the sights, dodging pedestrians and climbing in and out of subways, it will be good to get on the road again.
