So, now that the great white car caper has been resolved (jk), onto another
topic . . .

Ladies of Limestone Ranch - I noticed on the ?who?s who in the
neighborhood? listing that a handful of us are working from home trying
(and hopefully succeeding) to earn residual income through direct sales ie
MaryKay, Premier Design etc . . . I recently joined Rodan and Fields as an
executive skin care consultant so I?m still learning the ins and outs of
this sort of business model and I?m looking for ways to connect with people
outside my immediate network. That being said, I have an idea I want to
throw out there . . .

What if all of us ladies in the neighborhood who are sales consultants/self
employed combine forces and work together to help each other?  I?m
convinced that if we come together as a group of entrepreneurs who know
each other, understand each other's businesses and business goals, we can
help one another generate leads, act as referrals and ultimately grow our
businesses!

I have some long term goals for this sort of  ?women in business
networking/support group,? but initially I?d like to see who would even be
interested in exploring this idea. My plan is to get some feedback and then
if enough of you are interested, I'll schedule a date when we can all meet,
briefly share our business and then brainstorm ways we can support one
another. I want this to be a fun, relaxed, social gathering, not something
formal or "call to order." (Just as an FYI, I looked into joining the Hill
Country Women In Business group but their membership requirements preclude
those of us who do not actually ?own? a business.)

Please let me know what you think. Personally, I?m pretty excited about the
possibilities!  Take care and I look forward to your feedback and ideas :-)

Good morning- I thought it would be a great thing to do as a community to show the trash collectors that we appreciate them by doing something nice for them next Thursday. We leave water bottles, granola bars, etc out for them weekly at the end of our drive way in a little shopping bag.  Wouldn't it be a great surprise if we all did a little something like that next Thursday?!! A $5 gift card to a restaurant, note of thanks with Gatorade or food, etc.  I am sure they would be very appreciative of this kind gesture!! They also go out of the way to roll our trash cans down in our drive way so they don't go missing every week since we having been leaving them a little something to make their day better.  It's hot out there!! Thanks in advance to all that might participate in this!! If you can't participate this week then maybe a week that would work best for you would be good!!
