BARNACLE GOOSE (Durham): Dave Worthington found one on October in Whitby
that has been seen by many observers to at least October 3 in the vicinity
of Taunton Rd and Hwy 412.
CINNAMON TEAL (Niagara): The male found by Kathy Johnson at Grimsby
Wetlands on September 15 continued daily to at least September 27.
Eurasian Wigeon (Toronto): The one found by Ciara Kelly at Tommy Thompson
Park on September 22 continued to at least October 3.
Hudsonian Godwit (Hamilton): Jude Szabo and Mourad Jabra found two birds at
Windermere Basin on the evening of September 27.
Hudsonian Godwit (Norfolk): Cheryl and Scott Peck reported one from the
Long Point causeway on September 30.
Marbled Godwit (Wellington): The one found by Hannah Dodington near the
Shand Dam and boat launch area at Belwood Lake on September 26 continued
and was seen by many observers to at least September 30.
Red Phalarope (Nipissing): Chris Wood and Jessie Barry found and
photographed two birds at the Warren Sewage Lagoons on September 26.
Buff-breasted Sandpiper (Essex): One bird was seen by many observers in the
onion fields north of Point Pelee on September 29.
Buff-breasted Sandpiper (Niagara): Blayne and Jean Farnan found one at
Jaeger Rocks in Fort Erie on September 30 that was seen by many later the
same day.
Black-legged Kittiwake (Hamilton): One bird was reported off Van Wagner's
Beach on September 27.
Sabine's Gull (Essex): Mike St. Pierre and Steve Pike reported one off
Point Pelee on September 30.
Franklin's Gull (Prince Edward): Chris Davidson and Paul Jones found and
photographed one at the Outlet Beach in Sandbanks PP on October 2.
Arctic Tern (Ottawa): One bird was seen by many off Britannia October 2 and
3.
Pacific Loon (Renfrew): The one found by Bruce Di Labio on Lake Dore on
September 26 was seen by many to at least September 29.
Glossy Ibis (Frontenac): The one found by Dianne Croteau and Richard Brault
at Snake Island on September 20 was reported again September 29.
Glossy Ibis (Norfolk): The two birds along the Long Point causeway
continued to at least September 29.
Glossy Ibis (Waterloo): The one found by Tim K at Hespeler Mill Pond on
September 24 was seen by many and continued to at least September 27.
Black Vulture (Elgin): Chris Burris found one over Hawk Cliff on October 2.
Black Vulture (Niagara): Up to two birds were reported this week from the
Queenston area.
Swainson's Hawk (Essex): Kiah Jasper photographed one over Holiday Beach on
September 30.
Townsend's Solitaire (Thunder Bay): Kevin Dempsey photographed one north of
Shuniah on September 29.
Smith's Longspur (THUNDER BAY): Chris Wood and Jessie Barry reported one in
Marathon on September 28.
