Aloha all, after a great ~8000 nm passage from Honolulu to Florida via the Panama Canal Swan Song is now located in Ft Myers Yacht Basin. This makes it a little easier to see for anyone interested in this great well proven passagemaker :-) Many folks who've been aboard over the years, as well as recently, think she's closer to Expedition Yacht than a 'offshore' trawler. Self contained, for weeks off the dock, if you so desire! After many years and many miles of indescribable cruising and passagemaking, its time for us to hang up our hats on those offshore adventures and let a younger couple extend their horizons! Swan Song, our custom Roughwater 58, was purchased in 1998 and we did a complete structural rebuild/upgrade of her in the British Virgin Islands. Then Nancy and I cruised the Caribbean, South America and on to Panama. Through the Panama canal and more cruising to La Paz, Mx. >From Cabo San Lucas across to Honolulu where we have cruised all the Hawaiian Islands. Many on the the trawler and passagemaking lists have read of some of her exploits and have been aboard her at various times and places. Her condition and equipment is well beyond any sister ships.
