From EJ Raynor & Nick Bonomo:

10/14 - Stratford, "top soil" farm on Access Rd -- VESPER SPARROW, 7
WHITE-CROWNED SPARROWS (2 adult, 5 imm.)

This is the place that used to be a small vegetable farm, located on
Access Road between the "Access Rd pools" and Frash Pond. Now, the
field is being used to harbor large mounds of top soil. Several of
these mounds are covered in weeds and grasses, which are currently
holding many sparrows.

*Note: During the week birders are not allowed here. It is an active
site with several pieces of operating heavy machinery. The site seems
to be closed on Sundays (maybe Saturdays too?), at which time it is
safe for birders to walk around.
