Another Threat To Birds

As if birds do not have enough to contend with another threat that many people may not be aware of is lights from oil rigs in the interior west. The lights caused the following to die from exhaustion after being attracted to the lights. 10 Eared Grebes, 1 Cassin’s Vireo, 1 Yellow Warbler, 24 Wilson;s Warblers, 4 MacGilvray’s Warblers and 2 Chipping Sparrows. And this just from one rig. Multiply that by the total number of rigs out there! This happened in Wyoming.
