Bruce, I did mine just before I put the boat away for the winter. Probably overkill, but transmissions are expensive, and the filter / oil are not. I have the same transmissions and after all the horror stories about the cost of repairs on these babies, I plumbed my trannies into my oil change system to make it VERY easy to change the fluid. I change it when I do the engines. Just close one valve and open another. It only takes a couple of quarts of fluid, so it's just too easy and cheap not to do it. Brent Hodges
