There's something for just about everyone at today's Third Thursday at Tacoma Art Museum. We will be open and offering free admission from 5-8 pm. The free admission includes access to American Chronicles: The Art of Norman Rockwell. But there's so much more to see and do! Here are just a few of the evening's highlights:

  • Help Us Help Japan
We are collecting donations for Red Cross relief efforts in Japan. Make at least a $10 donation and receive a Japanese Woodblock Print calendar. Visit the Museum Store to make your contribution.
  • New Artwork in Mighty Tacoma
Come and see new works by Vanessa Renwick, Matika Wilbur, Doug Keyes, and Bill Jacobson. On view through April 24.
  • Free Mighty Tacoma Mug
In the spirit of St. Patrick's Day, get a free Mighty Tacoma Mug when you purchase tickets to the Saturday Evening Sock Hop (while supplies last). There will even be green drinks in the café that you can buy to drink in your new mug!
  • Literacy Month Book Sale, 10 am-8 pm
Find novels, non-fiction, children's, rare, and art books all at great prices.
  • Mighty Disasters, 5-7:30 pm
Authors Rob and Natalie McNair-Huff share stories of the greatest disasters to hit in and around Tacoma.
