Since inception, I have happily covered the costs myself, because I have the same passion you do for messing about in boats. And I want to keep for-sale messages off the main Trawlers & Trawlering List. But I no longer own and operate Trawler Fest, so there is not even faint business motivation for me to continue to underwrite the costs. For some years now, my book-keeper has been telling me I should aim to make BST self-supporting by making an annual call for donations from the people who use it--especially the brokers and others who stand to benefit financially from BST.
