Weather:
No cloud for most of the morning till the end of the count period at 11:00
EST... winds were light from the ENE and E and the temp started out at 7C
and got to a high of 17C.
Raptor Observations:
Just 37 birds tallied today with the majority Sharpies (19), a single
Osprey, N. Harriers (5), Cooper's Hawks (3), a few Broadwings (4) and Am.
Kestrels (4) and a lone Merlin.
Non-raptor Observations:
Some good non-raptor sightings today with YB Sapsucker, Red-bellied and
Pileated Woodpecker, Great Blue Heron, Gray Catbird, Blackburnian and Black
and White Warblers, Cedar Waxwings, Blue Jays, Am. Goldfinch, BC
Chickadees, RT Hummingbirds and White-breasted Nuthatch.
