2/12 Orange. Walked on Currier Drive in Orange again this afternoon and saw the Red Tailed hawk sitting on the nest -near top of tree at 211 Currier drive. There was another nest in an evergreen on Orange Center Rd last year, but that tree was cleared to build a new house there. I have seen a RT hawk sitting on top of the adjacent evergreen on several occasions. I am wondering if it is the parent of the RT hawk that became a celebrity in our neighborhood last year...it would probably be too early for the youngster to begin its own nest. I have to read up on Red Tailed hawks. But it's great to see nesting hawks in this area. Bev Propen, Orange
