What does this bode for trawler sales?
I was told that only old f**ts would want a single engine trawler like I
have and that they (the OF's) are being conservative with the money they
have left after the recent stock market. On the other side of the coin, those
with money are younger and time is still money to them so they want a boat
that goes faster. I am out of luck both ways.
So, if diesel becomes $5.00 a gallon what will happen to trawler sales? I
am old enough to remember the fuel availability and price problems of the
70's and 80's. Then both trawlers and sailboats brought a premium. Could this
happen again?
