We’re excited to announce an amped-up lineup of SIX speakers this year! Our presenters are curator Suzanne Ramljak, historian Stephen Fliegel, metalsmith Myra Mimlitsch-Gray, artist Jennifer Trask, jeweler Todd Pownell, and Vivian Beer who will all be speaking on the theme of Continuum. This year event coincides with the opening of the exhibition Protective Ornament: Contemporary Armor to Amulets at the Tacoma Arts Museum, and Metal-Urge – Tacoma’s city-wide celebration of the metal arts during which venues around Tacoma feature a variety of metal-based activities including exhibits, workshops, lectures, festivals, and more.
