Saw this bird on my early morning walk. Also, two adult Bald Eagles on Ct River Nav Aid #22, which is just north of Calves Island. It is not unusual for me to see eagles on the marker during the morning and I see them there 75% of the time. Usually it is one bird on the very top of the structure. This morning a bird flew from some trees near Pilgrim Landing to the top and there was already one on the cement base eating something. Some of the time there will be a bird in a tree or on the Osprey platform on the west side of the island. I believe this is the pair that nested near Lieut R. last year,,,but not certain.
