North Granby: we haven't seen a Redpoll since last Sunday, the day after the big snowstorm ended.  They visited our feeders almost daily for six weeks running.

Today nine Pine Siskins have taken their place -- the first PISI we've seen all winter.

About 10 miles to the south, redpolls continue in small to sometimes medium numbers at the Meyers Wildlife Sanctuary here in sunny Canton. No siskins as of yet.
