The Stratoglass is much better and will stay flat and resist wrinkles

much better than vinyl.  If it is too expensive you could consider

using it only for the front "windshield" of your flybridge and using

regular vinyl elsewhere.  Also, you should check the $500.  It seems

high.  You might be able to save some money by purchasing

Stratoglass seconds directly from the factory, much cheaper.  You

can cut to eliminate the defects.

After much disarray with my flybridge enclosure I have about reached another
level.

Last year after the hurricanes came around I had new zippers installed in
the
flybridge enclosure and a new bimini top made. I have spent a reasonable
amount of money but I am dissatisfied with the results.

I am at the point now , where I am seriously considering having an entire
new
top and enclosure made to get the new , air and water tight flybridge I once
had.

My question : Is it worth the additional money to have the new enclosure
made with Stratoglass?

I think the current enclosure is Crystal Clear 40 mil . The up charge for
the Stratoglass in my case is an additional $500.

Any Comments or suggestions ? Any recommendations in the Tampa , St Pete
Area?
