Hi Guys:

My Maxwell windlass is leaking oil from the seal on the side of the
reservoir.  According to the manual, the only way to fix it is to replace
the O ring.  That’s easy but to fill it with oil, the unit has to be pulled
and filled from the top, not the side where the site glass/O ring seal is
located.  I’m not comfortable doing this myself and we’re 2 months into a 4
month trip with most of the anchoring ahead of ourselves.

Can anyone refer me to a mechanic in this area or suggest another way to
tackle this problem?  Thanks.  Jim
