fuel hose and fittings

I didn't read the OP. But if I understand correctly, the Parker hoses are
custom fittings? Then you are stuck with those fittings when you need to do
a repair. Could create a long delay waiting for proper replacement fittings.
I like to stick to common stuff whenever possible.

The Parker fittings are standard JIC hydraulic fittings. I used these on my
fuel system and HIGHLY recommend them. Easy to assemble, easy to disassemble,
and absolutely leak-free.
