My wife and I live aboard our 1988 Willard 30 here in Seattle.  It is a
small but very comfortable home, and should be excellent for your area.  As
far as I'm concerned, $140,000 is quite expensive for a 30' boat.  Willard
Marine does build a very tough and quality vessel.  They not only build for
the US Navy, they also build for the Coast Guard, US Army, and numerous
commercial customers.

I have been searching for a very small liveaboard for over a year, and I
believe I have found it. I want to go slow in the Cape Cod waters. I like a
new trawler/tug as opposed to used. And I like spending under $140,000. Why
is the Willard so inexpensive, and can anyone tell me about it? The
company's (Anaheim)brochure indicated it builds for the U.S. Navy.
