Yes.  They work as advertised. Do you have a specific question?

Bob & Myrna ;
I have Weaver Snap Davits on my boat for my 12' Carolina Skiff w/ 15hp
Johnson. All up weight around 750lbs. The best thing about them is not that
you can swing the boat up on the swim platform, but that it holds the boat
to the swim platform while the dog and people get in and out. I usually tow
the dink, but when I dock or get in or out of the dink I snap it to the swim
platform. Also if the wind is up and you are sailing around the anchor, you
can snap the dink to the swim platform and not worry about banging into it
when the mother ship swings.

<I've used a Weaver Snap Davit for 12 years on a Carver that I just sold

and it worked flawlessly for all of those years. The only thing that I
had to do was rig a temporary light for night driving as the dingy
covered up the stern light. The installation was easy and I had no rust
at all.
