For posting to the Arts listserve.

As one of the Innovative Public Schools in Tacoma, Grant Center for the
Expressive Arts is a place where the arts are integrated into the
curriculum, and every student has the opportunity to learn though music,
dance, theatre, visual arts and more.  16 years ago the Grant CEA community
came together to help fund the Arts in Education by having an auction.  This
year the auction is on May 6th at 5:30 pm at the Foss Waterway Seaport
Museum.  We will have dinner and both a silent and live auction.  Everyone
in the community is welcome to be a part of the Grant CEA "For the Love of
Art" auction, and tickets will be going on sale in February.

Also, we are always looking for donations of items, artwork, services etc.
for our silent or live auctions, and the Grant CEA PTA is a registered 501c3
non-profit and all donations are tax deductible according to the law.

The website is  http://grantcea.schoolauction.net/grantcea2017

and you can email us at  mailto:GrantPTAAuction@comcast.net

Thank you for supporting our students (and future artists)!

At Grant CEA we strive to develop appropriate academic and social skills,
which lay the foundation for future successes.  The arts are integrated into
all areas providing opportunities for self-expression, collaboration and
interdisciplinary learning.  Proceeds from the auction have helped to fund
essentials such as arts training for our teachers, visiting artists,
enrichment classes for every student, a new media screen, musicals, field
trips, stage equipment, instruments, and much, much more!
