TWL: Your own stamp

Bonjour

After Mel Knott's question about personalized stamps, I received 5 private
mails concerning a new service from Canada Post. George Geist asked if I was
putting somebody's leg... The answer is No. I double checked with Canada
Post. It is a real new service.

You can have your own stamp with the photo of your dog, boat, wife, couple,
whatever... The only thing is that you have to buy a minimum of 25 stamps
for 25$, and send by mail (no Internet) the photo (4"x 6" or 3-1/2"x 5") you
want to be reproduced on the stamp. It takes about 15 days for delivery.
Stamps are good for use only if post cards or letters are mailed in Canada,
of course.

As I previously said, if anybody wants to have its own boat, or else, on a
stamp, send me the info, photos, etc. You can use my address (e-mail
privately, please, and I'll send it to you) and I'll forward stamps to you
or post them to your friends. I like the idea enough to help to do that, and
my assistant gets less busy in summer time, she should have some time to
spend on this original idea.

If you're Canadian, to order directly, go to : www.canadapost.ca, and click
"Picture postage"

usual stuff applies : I don't own Canada Post!
